The Lactiplantibacillus plantarum(L.) plantarum P9 strain has known antagonizing activity against pathogenic bacteria and molds of food and agriculture significance. To investigate the inhibitory mechanism of L. plantarum against the growth of Aspergillus (A.)flavus, this study analyzed the transcriptomic-level response of L. plantarum in inhibiting A. flavus in co-culture experiments. The objective of this study was to use RNA Sequencing (RNA-Seq) to unearth the mechanisms and key genes of the anti-Aspergillus effect of L. plantarum P9 strain at themolecular level.
